From Purple Cloud · Torbay, Devon
Hand-made art & creative services, under one cloud.
Portrait commissions, pet tributes, original paintings and creative services, gathered in one place. A Devon studio on the English Riviera, founded by artist Klaudia Polakowska and growing into a home for independent artists.
— Meet the founder
Hi, I'm Klaudia.
But you can call me Cloudia.
It's easier to remember, and it's where the name of this place comes from. From Purple Cloud is my initiative: one home for the things I make and the services I offer, so that people can find genuinely hand-made art without wading through mass-produced prints and AI imitations.
I'm a fine artist, illustrator, designer and photographer, now living and painting in Torbay, Devon, where the sea finds its way into a lot of my work. I paint and draw in oil, acrylic, watercolour, graphite, charcoal and ink, and every piece begins with a conversation with you.

Built & cared for by
ExpressionRise
This site is connected with ExpressionRise, our sister digital studio that thinks like artists and builds like engineers. Their method started here, at the easel: taking a hand-made art studio to page one of Google with no agency and no ad budget.
Now they do the same for creatives and small businesses across the UK.

Let's turn a photograph into something lasting
Tell me about the person, the pet or the space, the occasion, and what you have in mind. Artists who would like to join the collective, this is your door too.
